Marshall Hood (Warren's cousin) demonstrates that musical talent does run in the Hood family. Inspired by his uncle's death and Uncle Walt's Band, Marshall is also a composer in his own right. Originally hailing from Spartanburg, SC, Marshall formed the Deschamps Band with several friends and recorded two cds - 2004's The Deschamps Band and 2005's White Azalea Hotel. In January 2006 Marshall Hood, joined Matt Giles in accompanying "the toast of Austin" Ms.Toni Price every Tuesday night at The Continental Club in Austin, Texas. Marshall came aboard as a regular Tuesday Night "cohort" of Toni's at her famous "Happy Hour" (Every Tuesday until the Twelfth of Never) gig many refer to as the "Hippie Hour" that his late uncle, Champ Hood, graced with Toni throughout the 1990's.

In 2007 Marshall joined fellow bandmates Rob and Jeff and including Phoebe Hunt (Phoebe Jeebies) to form a new band called The Belleville Outfit, which is based out of New Orleans.  Currently they have a 6 song EP CD coming out this summer and are extensively touring the U.S.  Check out their website www.bellevilleoutfit.com.

Marshall plays with the Hoodlums on Sundays @ Momo's Club when Warren is in Austin. He also appear with other local musicians in the band the "Phoebe Jeebies" as well as playing with renowned fiddler Erik Hokkannen in and around Austin.
